But wait! There's more!

Wake is a queer-Canadian comic illustrator and recent BFA graduate from the Emily Carr University of Art and Design. He gears his practice towards queer-Canadian representation in comics across a variety of genres, typically by exploring the themes of found family, personal identity, and change.

Upcoming Story: Iris

Iris Ferguson gets more than she bargained for when she gives her college sweetheart, Daniel Cooper, a second chance at a relationship. He promises to ‘only have eyes for her’, but takes this declaration to a very literal and horrifying degree.

Meet Vonbryant!

Born and raised in Oakland, California, Vonbryant has been nationally recognized as a practical, real-life facilitator of workshops covering topics i.e.; life skill mastery, program enrichment, character / leadership education, diversity awareness, and team building.

Upcoming Story: High Hopes

When a child is born, no one hands you a manual on what to do, say, or even think. You leave the birthing ritual thinking you are good with this. But, by the time reality finally sinks in, you accept that you have been caught “unprepared.” This father has “High Hopes.”

Linda is a recent college graduate, creating sequential art and illustration while working at a pediatric nonprofit. She loves exploring storytelling, especially slice-of-life narratives that lift meaning from ongoing rhythms of life and relatable characters. She's also fond of fantasy elements that help express large, abstract dreams and feelings.

Upcoming Story: The Brightest Star Under the Eastern Seaboard

Two chemistry postdoctoral researchers chase an alien across the Eastern shoreline.

This adventure happens ten years too late for Parker, but many more years too early

for Fern. Both of them crave a deep change in their lives, but neither expect to find

such easy love.

These three books will debut in March - April of 2021 but will be announced later in the year. And our previously published Plastic Crown will be returning with a second issue!

Once again, thank you for supporting WildStar Press and we hope you’re all as excited as we are about the future possibilities and the growth!
